In Case You Missed It - News and Tidbits - September 10

Since I've been out of town the past few weeks, this is going to be a bit of a catch up post. Here are some news items that have happened in the past couple of weeks -

  • The LeFevres welcomed two new members, Trent Adams and Josh Townsend. Trent was a police officer for many years. Josh has been traveling with them for several months playing piano but is now an official member. Welcome both of these guys to the LeFevre Quartet!
  • StowTown Records announced the signing of Southern Raised to its roster of artists.
  • The Anchormen announced that lead singer Phillip Hughes is leaving the group. He wants to be off the road so he can better manage his health (diabetes). If you are interested in the position, email anchormenauditions@gmail.com.
  • Salem Media Group and Singing News Radio announced that Joe Mullins, host of Front Porch Fellowship, has received multiple nominations for this year's International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Awards. Congratulations!
  • Song Garden Music Group welcomed the Hinson Family to its family of artists.
  • Drew Long is back with Canaan's Crossing. He played with the band previously from 2010-2014. He will be officially back with them in mid-September.
Anything I've missed?
