- Kevin Williams of Gaither Vocal Band lost his mother earlier this week. She suffered from Parkinson's Disease for 16 years. Services were held on March 18.
- The Singing News fan awards top 10 nominations were announced this week. Here is a full list of nominations. Here are a few of my thoughts on the nominations.
- Congratulations to Paul Harkey and his wife Jennifer on the birth of their new baby Hudson Lee Harkey. He was 10 lbs .4 oz. and 21 3/4 inches.
- Chris White of Crossroads lost his father this week. Rev. Carl White age 96, of Maryville, passed away Monday at Blount Memorial Hospital. Services were held on Thursday, March 19.
