Butch Owens Joins Blackwood Brothers Quartet

Butch Owens has joined the Blackwood Brothers Quartet as bass singer. Butch is not short in professional singing experience having been with the Florida Boys, Anchormen, Stamps Quartet and Watchmen Quartet. In addition, he is also a retired law enforcement officer.

He will immediately go into the recording studio to add his bass vocals to the group's new project, which is currently untitled.

"I am excited to be a part of The Blackwood Brothers Quartet," Butch said. "It is a dream come true for me. The Blackwood Brothers Quartet is the most well-known name in gospel music with a great history of pioneering and influence in this industry. I am so proud to be able to help continue that great tradition. I look forward to meeting many new friends as we travel around the country and around the world."

Butch's son, Ian Owens, is currently the bass singer for Ernie Haase and Signature Sound.
